Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland invites a Senior Project Surveyor to be based in the Yorkshire area. This role drives commercial leadership on projects, supports pre-construction, tenders, and secured work, and oversees subcontract procurement and valuations.

The successful candidate will manage cost reporting, payments, and final accounts while maintaining strong relationships with clients and the project team. A degree and MRICS/MCIOB progress are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or working towards MRICS/MCIOB.
• Proven track record in main contractor construction.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with BIM and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Commercial leadership at project level.
• Involvement in pre-construction, tenders and secured work.
• Procurement of subcontract packages and payments.
• Prepare, submit and agree subcontract valuations with client reps.
• Produce monthly/quarterly cost reports and cashflow forecasts.
• Agree final accounts for subcontract packages.
