Job summary

Randstad CPE are supporting a premier Tier 1 main contractor in Birmingham to recruit a Senior Project Surveyor/Commercial Manager. You will own subcontract procurement, client valuations, and final accounts for major Birmingham-region construction packages, leading commercial strategy and risk management.

You will work with degree-qualified professionals, MRICS/MCIOB progression or equivalent, and advanced Excel, BIM tools, and measurement software proficiency to drive accurate cost reporting

Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
MRICS, MCIOB, or working toward chartered status is desirable
Experience delivering major construction schemes for a main contractor

Responsibilities

Lead subcontract procurement and commercial strategy on major projects
Manage client valuations, variations, final accounts, and cost reporting (CVRs)
Produce monthly/quarterly cost reports, cash flow projections, and margin forecasts
Drive risk and opportunity planning and contract compliance
