Building Careers UK is recruiting a commercially focused Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction contractor delivering design-and-build schemes across industrial, commercial and residential sectors in Greater Manchester.

The role involves end-to-end commercial management, procurement, cost reporting, valuations, variations and final accounts, with responsibility for ensuring profitability and contractual compliance across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, especially with main contractors.
• Design-and-build project exposure preferred.
• Strong procurement, cost control and commercial reporting knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Take responsibility for commercial management of allocated projects.
• Monitor budgets, costs, forecasts and financial performance.
• Prepare cost/value reconciliations and regular reports.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities to improve profitability.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Provide commercial guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
