Job summary

NRL Ltd in Cramlington seeks a Senior Project Planner to support major engineering projects in pharma, life sciences and healthcare. Based on site, you will assist the Project Manager, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and develop comprehensive programme plans from tender through commissioning, ensuring EVA reports and lookahead analyses are delivered.

This role requires precision, collaboration and regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• HNC in Building Services or Building Studies or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Project (2003 or later).
• Experience with programme management, EVA and progress reporting.
• Strong communication and cross‑disciplinary coordination.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors, especially cleanroom or lab projects.
• IT‑literacy with MS Office/Outlook and safety procedures knowledge.
• Familiarity with Suretrak or Primavera and full turnkey project delivery.
• Understanding of design principles to support construction execution.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager to deliver projects to standards and timescales.
• Coordinate with project teams to define and meet programme requirements.
• Develop and monitor tender, design, construction and commissioning programmes.
• Produce EVA and S‑curve reports and analyse results.
• Forecast issues and maintain progress and performance.
• Manage procurement schedules and monitor subcontractor deliverables.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure client satisfaction and clear communication.
• Prepare lookahead reports and close‑out programmes for handover.
