Job summary

Nexans is seeking a Senior Project Planner to provide planning services for projects across the Turnkey and Offshore portfolio in the UK. You will develop schedules in line with Nexans planning principles and contract requirements to meet milestones.

You will ensure high-quality execution through proactive follow-up, monthly reporting and input to tenders, with 5–10 years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of Primavera and MS Project.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience as a project planner.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong Excel skills for scheduling and data analysis.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Norwegian language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning services to projects and develop schedules based on Nexans principles and contract requirements.
• Establish baseline schedules aligned with obligations, client expectations and internal procedures.
• Regularly update project status by coordinating with stakeholders and adjusting schedules.
• Forecast and align resource requirements with project teams and line managers.
• Involve in tender processes with input on risk, cost and planning assumptions.
• Contribute to development of planning competencies and systems within the team.
