Job summary

Pentagon Technical Services is seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner to support major hyperscale data centre projects across Europe. The role requires expertise in mission-critical construction and a track record delivering complex programmes.

You will develop and maintain integrated programmes using Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject, manage schedule risk, and collaborate with PMs, construction managers and commercial teams to ensure milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Planner or Senior Planner on large-scale construction projects.
• Previous data centre experience is highly desirable.
• Candidates from pharmaceutical, life sciences, cleanroom or other mission-critical environments will be considered.
• Strong understanding of project controls and construction planning.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update integrated project programmes using Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject.
• Produce baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules and recovery programmes.
• Monitor critical path activities and identify programme risks and opportunities.
• Develop 'what-if' scenarios and mitigation plans to maintain project milestones.
• Manage programme changes and ensure revisions are accurately documented.
• Monitor project progress against programme and contractual milestones.
• Produce weekly and monthly planning reports, dashboards and S-curves.
• Analyse schedule performance and provide accurate forecasts.
• Carry out delay analysis and support EOT submissions where required.
• Support earned value management (EVM) and project controls reporting.
