Job summary

Whitbread is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Dunstable to lead end-to-end delivery of strategic Commercial Technology programmes. You will influence senior stakeholders, manage budgets, and ensure governance across Product, Engineering, Data and Operations to drive business value.

In a hybrid role, you’ll mobilise complex initiatives, balance agile, hybrid and waterfall methods, and mentor delivery professionals while partnering with suppliers and internal teams to realise benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale technology or digital transformation programmes.
• Ability to manage budgets, governance and delivery confidence.
• Proven stakeholder management and executive reporting skills.
• Comfort working across Product, Engineering, Data and Architecture.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technology initiatives from mobilisation to closure.
• Translate roadmaps into delivery plans with milestones, resources and releases.
• Drive delivery across Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall approaches.
• Provide visibility of progress, risks and costs to senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional planning across Product, Engineering, Data, Security and Operations.
• Manage project finances including forecasting and budgeting.
• Oversee delivery by partners and suppliers to meet commitments.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance and operational readiness.
• Resolve risks and dependencies across teams.
• Coach and mentor project managers to raise capability.
• Support portfolio prioritisation and capacity planning.
