Senior Project Manager - Space Imaging

We are seeking a Project Manager - Space Imaging with drive and commitment to enhance our project management team, manage strategic R&D and customer-funded projects, and work with the team to improve management and governance processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing cross-functional teams of engineers and manufacturing staff to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Ensuring consistent application of effective Project Management techniques and adherence to project management processes.
• Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication of goals and objectives, and their successful execution.
• Creating detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project and publishing them into the MS Project Server system.
• Agreeing on appropriate Phase Gate Reviews and ensuring they are conducted timely.
• Identifying project risks, issues, and dependencies, and seeking resolution before escalation.
• Collaborating with the Finance Team to establish and monitor budgets, including analyzing relevant data such as schedule-derived ETCs and risk-related cost exposures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience managing projects through all or part of the lifecycle, from bid to production, with a focus on manufacturing.
• Proven ability to energize teams to meet critical deadlines and deliver projects successfully.
• Ability to manage customer expectations and prevent scope creep.
• Good understanding of risk management principles and their application in project management.
