We are looking for a Project Manager – Space Imaging with drive and commitment to enhance our project management team, manage strategic R&D and customer-funded projects, and work with the team to improve management and governance processes.

In this role, you will:

• Manage cross-functional teams of engineers and manufacturing staff to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Ensure effective application of Project Management techniques and adherence to processes.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication of goals and objectives.
• Create detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project and publish them into the MS Project Server system.
• Organize Phase Gate Reviews for projects and ensure they occur timely.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, seeking resolution before escalation.
• Collaborate with the Finance Team to establish and monitor budgets, analyzing relevant data such as schedule-derived ETCs and risk cost exposure.

Qualifications and experience:

• Experience managing projects through all or part of the lifecycle, especially in production.
• Proven ability to energize teams to meet critical deadlines and deliver projects.
• Skill in managing customer expectations and preventing scope creep.
• Good understanding of risk management and its application in projects.
