This leadership role is ideal for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Director with a proven track record in managing high-value development and construction projects, especially in sectors such as education, residential, mixed-use, or commercial real estate.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of development projects, including site due diligence, design management, planning, procurement, construction, and handover.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with budget, schedule, and investor expectations, implementing effective governance, reporting, and controls.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, investors, and internal senior leadership.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and coordinate internal and external project teams.
• Build strong relationships with architects, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets, cash flows, and control mechanisms.
• Develop risk registers and proactively manage potential issues with contingency plans.
• Oversee programming, resource allocation, and sequencing to meet milestones.
• Ensure quality assurance complies with UK regulations and standards, especially for sectors like education.
• Drive health & safety compliance and local authority requirements.
• Lead external project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Mentor junior staff and consultants involved in project delivery.
• Prepare reports for boards and investors, including progress, risks, costs, and schedules.
• Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready project documentation.
