Job summary

Falcon Green is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a new microgrid power infrastructure project in West London for an international data centre developer. You will oversee delivery of cutting-edge tech and ensure the programme meets time, cost, and safety targets.

The ideal candidate will have a mission-critical background (data centres, nuclear, BESS, renewables or T&D) and at least five years in a lead role with a GC or PMC, plus CSA and MEP expertise, and a proven record of delivering

• CSA and MEP expertise are essential for project success.
• History of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Five+ years in a lead role with a GC or PMC.

Responsibilities

• Regular meetings with the general contractor and addressing technical issues promptly.
• Regular meetings with developer representatives.
• Manage and coordinate full delivery of both MEP and CSA disciplines.
• Prepare project costing, design and delivery works with project team.
• Control the design process from planning to completion.
• Support procurement and contractor interaction.
• With Scheduler, write up and implement the project programme.
• Responsible for safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of the project.

I am actively seeking a Senior Project Manager to run a new microgrid project in West London. Employed by a rapidly growing PMC, on behalf of an international data centre developer, you will oversee successful delivery of new cutting edge power infrastructure and one-of-a-kind technology for the area.

The data centre sector is the fastest growing in construction right now and is not slowing down. However, power constraints are becoming the biggest blocker to new developments kicking off, and so this new infrastructure is crucial to the growth of the sector.

The ideal candidate will come from a mission critical background, whether that be data centres, nuclear, BESS, renewables or T&D and have experience managing large build values and complex delivery programmes. Candidates accepted from main contractor or PMC backgrounds.

• Regular meetings with the general contractor and ensuring all technical issues are addressed immediately
• Regular meetings with developer representatives.
• Manage and coordinate full delivery of both MEP and CSA disciplines
• Liaise with key personnel within the project team in preparation of project costing ,design and delivery works
• Control the design process, from planning application through to project completion
• Support Procurement and contractor interaction
• Along with Scheduler, write up and implement project programme
• Ultimate responsibility for safe, timely and cost effective delivery of project
• Over five years’ experience in a lead role with a GC or PMC
• CSA and MEP expertise is essential
• History of completing projects on time and budget
