Job summary

Centre for Information Resilience (CIR) in the UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a contractor role until 31 March 2027. You will manage open-source research projects, ensuring timelines, budgets and donor reporting, while collaborating across teams and with partners.

The role requires leading PM mechanisms, budgeting, risk management, and coordination with MEL, leadership and fundraising. Weekly travel to London and occasional travel to Ukraine are expected, with a dynamic, fast-paced

Qualifications

• A proven track record of delivering large-scale projects to deadline, within budget and with measurable impact.
• Experience delivering projects funded by UK government or equivalent, with knowledge of related policies and procedures.
• Strong planning, financial management, impact reporting and risk mitigation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and operationalise robust project management mechanisms: planning, tracking, risk management, reporting and learning.
• Structure teams to ensure sufficient expertise and resources to deliver workplans.
• Oversee donor communications on budgets and compliance to maintain confidence in CIR's delivery.
• Develop budgets aligned with workplans and ensure alignment with targets and donor approvals.
• Create financial forecasts, monitor expenditures and ensure timely reporting.
• Collaborate with leadership, technical staff and MEL to implement a Theory of Change and data synthesis.
• Identify solutions to delivery challenges to maximise impact within budget and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to CIR policies on data protection, cyber security, anti-corruption, safeguarding and conduct.
• Support business development by identifying funding opportunities and assisting bid submissions.
• Work with People team on hiring, planning, assessments, interviews and onboarding.
