Job summary

NMS Recruit are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a focus on New Build to lead the delivery of a major project in Bath, South West England. You will take overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and execution of the project, ensuring it is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Experience delivering Student Accommodation, PBSA, or BTR schemes would be highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven PM experience in the construction sector with new build focus.
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Strong budget management and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry best practice.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for on-time, on-budget project delivery.
• Lead Site Management, Commercial, Design and Engineering teams.
• Develop strong client, consultant and subcontractor relationships.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance with the commercial team.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, implement mitigations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment and quality standards.
• Chair project meetings and report progress to senior management.
• Oversee procurement strategies and subcontractor performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practice in delivery.
• Support handover and operational readiness upon completion.
