Job summary
SP Electricity North West is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of high-profile customer projects from inception to completion within the Connections Major Projects Team. You will manage major electrical demand and distributed generation projects up to 33kV and 132kV, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
The role requires PRINCE2 or APM qualifications and proven experience in utilities project portfolios.
Qualifications
- Project management qualification (PRINCE2/APM) essential.
- Experience managing a portfolio of utilities sector projects.
- Experience delivering customer-led electrical distribution projects at 33kV/132kV.
- Strong planning, budgeting and risk management skills.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for successful delivery of portfolio of customer projects.
- Oversee commercial performance, budgets, schedules, risks, and governance.
- Collaborate with customers, contractors and regulators to ensure compliance.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams and promote health and safety culture.
- Provide updates to stakeholders with transparent project control.
