Job summary

Fawkes and Reece is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a £5m+ high-security fit-out in Reading. The role requires delivering from pre-construction through to completion, coordinating with client, design teams, consultants, subcontractors and internal commercial and operational teams.

You will manage delivery, programme, quality and safety, coordinate design, procurement and construction, and maintain rigorous security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering £5m+ fit-out or refurbishment projects.
• Strong programme and subcontractor management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Commercial awareness and contract understanding.
• Experience in security-sensitive environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for project delivery, programme, quality and health & safety.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, consultants and site teams.
• Drive the programme to ensure key milestones and completion dates are achieved.
• Manage project risks, change and commercial interfaces.
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure works are delivered to the required specification and quality standards.
• Coordinate design, procurement and construction activities.
• Maintain rigorous standards around site security, access and confidentiality.
• Provide clear reporting on progress, programme, risk and performance.
