Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to lead a c. £5m high-security fit-out scheme in Reading. You will oversee delivery from pre-construction to completion, coordinating client, design team, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.

The role requires proven experience with £5m+ projects, strong fit-out/refurbishment background, excellent programme and subcontractor management, and the ability to maintain security and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering £5m+ fit-out or refurbishment projects.
• Strong fit-out/refurbishment background.
• Excellent programme and subcontractor management.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Methodical and highly professional approach to project delivery.
• Construction qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
• Existing high-level security clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Taking overall responsibility for project delivery, programme, quality and health & safety.
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors, consultants and site teams.
• Driving the programme to ensure key milestones and completion dates are achieved.
• Managing project risks, change and commercial interfaces.
• Leading project meetings and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Ensuring works are delivered to the required specification and quality standards.
• Coordinating design, procurement and construction activities.
• Maintaining rigorous standards around site security, access and confidentiality.
• Providing clear reporting on progress, programme, risk and performance.
