Job summary

Novara People Ltd in Cleckheaton is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technical and creative projects from enquiry to handover. You will ensure delivery on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while coordinating client needs with design, engineering, manufacturing and support teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or similar leadership role.
• Experience managing projects from proposal through to delivery and handover.
• Strong commercial awareness, including project budgets and contracts.
• Excellent client-management skills with confidence leading meetings.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional internal teams, suppliers and site crews.
• Practical understanding of project planning, risk management and change control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of project scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements.
• Manage projects from contract review and bid stage through to installation, handover and project debrief.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring requirements and vision are understood and maintained.
• Attend and lead client, design and project meetings, including national and international meetings where required.
• Review project feasibility, scope, specifications, resources and additional requirements before work begins.
• Prepare and manage project plans, schedules, deliverables, documentation and progress reports.
• Lead design meetings with technical drafting and project teams, agreeing priorities and deadlines.
• Manage project financials, including costings, budgets, estimates, contingencies and payments.
• Understand and manage contractual, commercial and legal responsibilities.
• Monitor progress, risks, delays and issues, escalating where necessary.
• Coordinate suppliers, consultants, freelance staff and equipment.
• Ensure clear communication between clients, project teams and site teams.
• Drive the development of creative, technical and commercially viable solutions.
• Oversee project documentation and final deliverables to meet quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and CHAS, and company health and safety policies.
