Job summary

Orano Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Project Manager to ensure effective delivery of a portfolio of nuclear projects, on time, within budget and to the required quality. You will act as a single point of management, coordinating with customers and stakeholders, managing risk, costs and negotiations, and traveling to client sites as required while undergoing security clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager on a Nuclear site or a highly regulated site.
• Understanding of planning, risk and cost management at program and project levels.
• Awareness of stage-gate principles of project delivery.
• Knowledge of risk management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects of varying value and complexity.
• Ensure successful financial performance and risk management.
• Manage/support customer/stakeholder groups through reviews and progress meetings.
• Manage negotiations with customers/stakeholders/sub-contractors.
• Drive efficiency and best practice, aligning local processes and procedures where possible.
• Identify issues impacting the project baseline and implement risk mitigation strategies.
