Job summary

Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead civil engineering/infrastructure projects from planning to handover. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality across multiple sites.

The role requires managing NEC4 contracts and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, with travel to Plymouth, Cumbria and across Scotland as needed. Chartered or working towards chartership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience managing major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering projects through full lifecycle from design to handover.
• Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts and project delivery.
• Experience managing cost, risk, change and programme.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Chartered or working towards chartership.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead projects from planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

The nuclear defence sector in the UK is vital for maintaining national security and strategic stability. Working Pattern

• Experience managing cost, risk, change and programme.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing contractors and consultants.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and reporting skills.
• Chartered or working towards chartership.
• NEC4 ECC Project Manager accreditation, or willingness to achieve it.

Desirable

• SMSTS or equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering civil engineering, infrastructure or defence projects.
• APM qualification or equivalent project management experience.
• Experience using contract administration systems such as CEMAR.
