UK Atomic Energy Authority is seeking a Senior Project Manager to deliver complex engineering and decommissioning projects within the JET Tokamak programme. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and implement governance to ensure safe, cost-effective outcomes across the project lifecycle.

You will build stakeholder relationships, drive risk management and contribute to business cases while championing a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Experience delivering complex engineering, infrastructure or technical projects to time, cost and quality objectives.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with multiple stakeholders, interfaces and dependencies.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and business case development capabilities.
• Experience delivering projects within regulated engineering, scientific or industrial environments.
• Experience with decommissioning, remote handling, radiological environments or CDM-regulated projects is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the delivery of complex engineering and decommissioning projects across scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Develop project execution strategies, delivery plans and governance arrangements for effective decision-making and delivery performance.
• Manage budgets, forecasting and financial performance to stay within approved funding.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating resources and driving accountability for delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, issues and interdependencies.
• Oversee project controls, reporting and performance measurement to provide visibility of progress and risks.
• Contribute to business cases, investment decisions and benefits realisation planning.
• Lead change control activities with governed processes.
• Champion a strong safety culture and compliance with UKAEA standards and regulatory requirements.
