UK Atomic Energy Authority seeks a Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams across science, engineering, research and facility development. You will manage projects with typical budgets from £500,000 to £5 million, ensuring delivery within time, cost and quality targets.

Roles are fixed-term (24 months) with flexible full-time or part-time options and onsite presence three days a week. You’ll bring a strong project track record in technical environments, a recognised qualification (APM

Qualificações

• Experience managing projects in technical, scientific or engineering environments.
• Holding a recognised project management qualification (APM PMQ or PRINCE2).
• Knowledge of multiple delivery methodologies and governance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage budgets up to £5 million annually.
• Experience with contract management and working with suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead projects and multidisciplinary delivery teams through the full project lifecycle.
• Develop project management plans, schedules, milestones and delivery controls.
• Apply suitable delivery methodologies including waterfall, agile, hybrid or iterative approaches.
• Manage budgets, monitor financial performance and forecast variances.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes.
• Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders, technical teams and suppliers.
• Coordinate governance, assurance reviews and reporting to boards and senior leaders.
• Manage supplier contracts and procurement activity.
