The Environment Agency is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the financial and business management of its digital transformation programme. This role involves leading within the Programme Management Office, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. We have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation programme within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme is responsible for delivering digital services that will revolutionize how the Environment Agency regulates.
You will lead within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing valuable input into the financial and business management of the programme to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and remove barriers to ensure alignment with the business case and value for money.
We seek someone with a proven track record in managing complex financial information, collaborating with stakeholders to drive value for money, and influencing ongoing investments.
The Digital, Innovation, and Programmes team is responsible for implementing the Digital Strategy across E&B, shaping digital services that transform regulation processes.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Defra shared services and third-party suppliers, to develop user-centered online services and digital platforms that are more efficient, simpler, and faster to use.
Support for incident management development, flexible working arrangements, and a guaranteed interview policy for disabled applicants are provided.
