The Environment Agency is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead financial and business management for a significant digital transformation programme. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring value for money, with a focus on innovation and governance in financial processes.

We offer an exciting opportunity to lead in the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation programme within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme aims to deliver digital services that will revolutionize how the Environment Agency regulates.
You will play a key role within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing essential input into the financial and business management to support risk mitigation, remove barriers to delivery, and ensure value for money in alignment with the business case.
We seek someone with a proven track record in managing complex financial data and collaborating effectively to drive value for money and influence investment decisions.

The Team
The Digital, Innovation and Programmes team leads the Digital Strategy implementation, shaping delivery of digital services that transform regulation processes. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Defra shared services and third-party suppliers, to develop user-centered digital platforms that are efficient and accessible.
