The Environment Agency is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee financial and business management within a major digital transformation programme. This role involves leading within the Programme Management Office, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring governance standards are met while driving value for money. We have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation programme within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme is responsible for delivering digital services that will transform environmental regulation.
You will lead within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing valuable input into the financial and business management of the Programme to support risk mitigation, resolve barriers to delivery, and ensure value for money.
We seek someone with a proven track record in managing complex financial information, collaborating to drive value for money, and influencing ongoing investments.
The Digital, Innovation, and Programmes team oversees the Digital Strategy and its implementation. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, including Defra shared services and third-party suppliers, to shape user-centered digital services that are efficient and user-friendly.
