The Environment Agency is seeking a Senior Project Manager to contribute to its digital transformation programme. You will play a pivotal role in financial management and strategic planning, working with multidisciplinary teams to shape innovative digital services and solutions. We have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation programme within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme is responsible for delivering digital services that will transform how the Environment Agency regulates.
You will lead within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing valuable input into the financial and business management of the Programme. Your role will support risk mitigation, issue resolution, barrier removal, and ensure value for money in line with the business case.
We seek someone with a strong track record in managing complex financial information, collaborating to drive value for money, and influencing ongoing investment.
Key Tasks:
The Digital, Innovation and Programmes team is responsible for implementing the Digital Strategy across E&B, shaping digital service delivery to make processes more efficient, simple, and fast.
You will work with multidisciplinary teams, including Defra shared services and third-party suppliers, to develop user-centered online services and digital platforms.
