The Environment Agency seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead financial and business management within a major digital transformation programme. We offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation programme within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme is responsible for delivering digital services that will transform environmental regulation.
You will lead within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing valuable input into the financial and business management of the programme to support risk mitigation and barrier removal, ensuring alignment with the business case and value for money.
We seek someone with a proven track record in managing complex financial information, collaborating to drive value for money, and influencing ongoing investment.
The Digital, Innovation and Programmes team is responsible for implementing the Digital Strategy across E&B, setting the strategic direction for digital services that transform regulation.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team alongside Defra shared services and third-party suppliers to shape user-centered online services and digital platforms that are efficient, simple, and fast.
