We have an exciting opportunity to lead in the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation programme within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme is responsible for delivering digital services that will transform how the Environment Agency regulates.
You will play a key role within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing input into the financial and business management of the programme to support risk mitigation and remove barriers to delivery, ensuring alignment with business cases and value for money.
We are seeking someone with a proven track record in managing complex financial information, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving value for money and ongoing investment.

The Team
The Digital, Innovation and Programmes team oversees the Digital Strategy and its implementation, shaping digital services that transform regulation processes.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team, including Defra shared services and third-party suppliers, to develop user-centered online services and digital platforms that are efficient, simple, and fast.

Support for incident management development, flexible working arrangements, and accessibility policies are in place. The role is based at an EA Office location with national flexibility.
