The Environment Agency seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee financial and business management within a major digital transformation programme. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, managing complex financial data, and ensuring programme deliverables align with strategic objectives. We offer an exciting opportunity to engage in the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation programme within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme is responsible for delivering digital services that will revolutionize how the Environment Agency regulates.
You will lead within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing valuable input into the financial and business management of the Programme. Your role will support risk mitigation, issue resolution, and removal of barriers to ensure alignment with our business case and value for money.

The Team:
The Digital, Innovation and Programmes team oversees the Digital Strategy and its implementation, transforming how the Environment Agency regulates through digital services. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Defra shared services and third-party suppliers, to shape user-centered online services and digital platforms that are efficient, simple, and swift.
