Job summary

NW Construction Contractor seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead construction projects from pre-construction through to handover. The role covers commercial, residential, hotel, healthcare and heritage schemes with values from £10m to £50m.

You will manage programmes, budgets and client relationships, leading teams and coordinating with commercial, pre-construction, HSEQ and planning functions to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within construction.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent knowledge of construction techniques, sequencing and methodologies.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to manage demanding programmes, budgets and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Leading project teams and ensuring safe, high-quality delivery.
• Managing projects to programme and budget.
• Preparing Contractors' Proposals and reviewing Employers' Requirements.
• Managing client relationships and maintaining strong communication.
• Leading operational management of live projects and bids.
• Working closely with Commercial, Pre-Construction, HSEQ, Planning and Senior Management teams.
• Developing detailed project programmes.
• Identifying and resolving project issues effectively.
• Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members.
