Job summary

NW Construction Contractor seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead construction projects from pre-construction through to handover. The role covers commercial, residential, hotel, healthcare and heritage schemes with values from £10m to £50m.

You will manage programmes, budgets and client relationships, leading teams and coordinating with commercial, pre-construction, HSEQ and planning functions to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within construction.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent knowledge of construction techniques, sequencing and methodologies.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to manage demanding programmes, budgets and deadlines.

The Opportunity

A well-established and highly regarded NW construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior / Project Manager to join its growing team.

With a strong pipeline of secured work the business is delivering a diverse portfolio of projects from £10m - £50m in value including:

• Commercial and office developments
• Residential new-build and refurbishment projects
• Hotel and hospitality projects
• Healthcare and education developments
• Heritage and listed building refurbishments
• Façade, external envelope and major refurbishment projects

The Role

The successful candidate will take a lead role in the delivery of construction projects from pre-construction and inception through to completion, handover and customer care.

Key responsibilities will include:
