Job summary

Aldwych Consulting seeks a Senior Project Manager for its Ipswich office to lead complex construction projects, ensure value delivery, and maintain strong client relationships.

You’ll manage inception-to-completion across programmes, budgets, and teams, with a focus on risk management and stakeholder engagement. Flexible, hybrid work arrangements are offered in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Project Manager in a construction consultancy.
• Ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of project management processes, procurement and delivery.
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to lead project teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Relevant qualification in construction, project management or built environment.
• APM, RICS or equivalent accreditation would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from inception through to completion.
• Act as main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
• Establish project objectives, programmes and delivery strategies.
• Manage project teams and coordinate consultants and contractors.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, risks and programmes.
• Provide regular project reporting to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Identifying and managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Managing meetings, workshops and project reviews.
• Building and maintaining strong long‑term client relationships.
• Supporting the development of junior Project Managers and wider team members.
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the consultancy.
