Job summary

Alder Forest, based in the North West, requires a Senior Project Manager to lead fast-track interior fit-out and major refurbishments for blue-chip clients across the UK.

You will run at least two contracts simultaneously valued £500k to £5m, coordinate design, liaise with clients and landlords, and manage site teams to deliver snag-free projects on time and within budget. A strong track record in commercial interiors is essential.

Qualifications

• Track record of successful projects in interior fit-out/refurbishment.
• Understanding of pre-construction processes and design phases.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and coordinate with designers and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Run at least two contracts simultaneously with values from £500k to £5m.
• Liaise with construction teams, landlords and clients.
• Manage Site Manager and site teams; visit sites at least once a week.
• Ensure on-time, within-cost delivery to high standards.

Job description

Design & Build Fit-Outs, with project values from £500k to £5m. They could involve structural alterations and will have a heavy M&E content. The Project Manager will work in a team supporting projects nationwide: Build good relations with the client and project team Ensure all aspects of the build process are satisfactorily completed on time and within cost and to the highest possible standards Be able to carry out perfect delivery and produce snag free jobs Must be able to run at least two contracts at one time varying in value from £500k to £5m Liaison with construction teams and landlords and clients Design control and coordination, directly liaise with designers Management of Site Manager and site teams Manage all aspects of build process Visit sites at least one day a week The Successful Project Manager: Track record of successful projects either internally and externally In-depth knowledge of the construction process including both new build and fit-out / refurbishment
Understands the pre-construction process Can organise and manage the design phase of a project Able to collate information from his team to prepare and present the project report. Understanding of how to comply with a H&S policy and H&S management system TPBN1_UKTJ
