Senior Project Managers - Bus Franchising Programme

Initial 9 Month Engagement

Outside IR35 - Up to 600 pd

Northern England

We are seeking multiple experienced Senior Project Managers to support a major Bus Franchising and Transport Transformation Programme

You will lead the planning and delivery of complex technology and business change projects, managing scope, budgets, schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, suppliers and stakeholders.

Key project areas include:

• Fares, Ticketing & Retail: Ticketing platforms, payments, revenue and concessionary travel systems.
• Network Management & Operations: Timetabling, control room technology, operational systems and incident management.
• Customer Experience: Contact centres, passenger information, websites, mobile applications and CRM.
• Safety, Compliance & Operator Management: Contract performance, operator compliance, health and safety and assurance.
• Data, Reporting & Integration: Data platforms, business intelligence, reporting and performance dashboards.
• Corporate Systems: Finance, asset management, workforce and document management.

Candidates must have proven experience delivering complex technology or business transformation projects, with strong project governance, RAID management, supplier engagement, financial control and stakeholder management skills.

Experience managing testing, implementation, operational readiness and go-live activities is essential. Public sector or transport experience is highly desirable.
