Job summary

Kinly is seeking a Senior Project Manager - AV to lead complex AV integration projects from inception to close, based in London or Sunbury-upon-Thames with hybrid working.

You will manage commercial obligations, schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams, ensuring client satisfaction and on-time delivery. UK travel is required; Prince2/PMP desirable; Procore/ServiceNow a plus.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering main contractor–led AV projects.
• Proven technical knowledge of project management in AV-integration.
• Ability to interface with clients and lead teams effectively.
• Confident presenter and meeting chair across AV activities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with varying value and complexity.
• Well organised with meticulous planning and scheduling skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are completed on time and to client satisfaction.
• Hold commercial and contractual obligations across multiple projects.
• Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Communicate project progress with client and internally.
• Manage site teams, installers, commissioning leads and programmers.
• Oversee final documentation packages and contract close-out.
• Forecast invoicing and work effort across the portfolio.
• Travel to project/customer sites as required.

Role: Senior Project Manager - AV

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: London or Sunbury-upon-Thames (hybrid working is available)

Salary: Excellent salary (dependent on experience), plus bonus and company benefits and car allowance

Key responsibilities

• Ensure that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner, to our clients’ satisfaction
• Full responsibility of commercial and contractual obligations of multiple projects simultaneously
• Preparing and managing project schedules and budgets
• Communicating project progress and status, both internally and with the client
• Managing project scheduling and staffing with in-house and sub-contracted labour
• Overseeing project site managers, Installers, Commissioning leads & Programmers, ensuring projects schedules are adhered to
• Ensuring that final documentation packages (i.e. O & M manuals, Record Information Packs, etc.) are prepared and contract close-out occurs in a timely manner
• Forecasting invoicing and work effort throughout portfolio
• Travelling to project/customer sites will be required in this position, as projects demand

Skills and experience

• Extensive experience delivering main contractor-lead projects
• Proven technical knowledge of Project Managing specifically in the AV-integration industry is essential
• Ability to interface well with clients and co-workers and to lead subordinate staff effectively
• Confident presenter & chair of meetings – leading coordination of AV activities throughout the project life-cycle
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, at varying levels of value and complexity
• Well organised, with attention to detail and meticulous planning skills
• Procore & ServiceNow experience desired but not essential (Training Given)
• Able to create and manage schedules, reports, financial forecasting and budgets
• Prince2/PMP qualification or equivalent desirable.
