Senior Project Manager - Advisory Services

The Opportunity

We are seeking an individual to join our Advisory Services team in Bristol or Cardiff with proven skills in programme and project management. The role will include working directly with clients, Arup teams and collaborators on a range of built environment projects and contribute to developing new business. In this role you will deliver complex projects through all stages of the project life cycle, leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, advising on project delivery, programme and project management methodologies, processes and tools.

Within a consultancy environment, you will provide programme and project management services to external & internal clients. This will include contract administration of professional services, building and infrastructure contracts, preparing and executing plans for the management of time, cost and quality. This also includes commercial management, project controls and risk/change management. You will get the opportunity to contribute to business development activities including the preparation of expressions of interest, tenders and proposals, and be familiar with preparing reports and presenting to project boards, client meetings and progress meetings.

Requirements

  • You should have demonstrable evidence of working in a project management role, with good client facing skills.
  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Professionally chartered with a relevant institution such as fullmembership of the Association for Project Management/ Association for Project Management Chartered Project Professional.
  • Business development and work winning experience.
