Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Wisley Sewage Treatment Works team in Wisley. You will lead the safe, compliant delivery of construction and improvement works in a regulated wastewater environment, providing senior operational leadership across live assets and projects.

You’ll plan, coordinate and deliver capital and maintenance works to programme, cost, quality and performance targets, promote a zero‑harm culture, and mentor a multidisciplinary team while engaging

Job description

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Wisley Sewage Treatment Works team based in Wisley.

Location: Wisley
Hours: 45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of construction and improvement works at Wisley Sewage Treatment Works. This role offers the opportunity to provide senior operational leadership across multiple live assets and projects within a highly regulated wastewater environment, ensuring that works are delivered without compromising treatment operations, environmental compliance, or public safety.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be working within the Wisley Sewage Treatment Works team, supporting them in delivering construction and improvement works safely and efficiently. Your day to day will include:

• Providing visible leadership across all construction and engineering activities, consistently demonstrating Kier's values in decision-making and communication
• Leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of capital and maintenance works to programme, cost, quality, and performance targets
• Championing a zero-harm culture and ensuring robust management of high-risk activities including confined spaces and lifting operations
• Building trusted relationships with clients, site operations teams, regulators, and alliance partners through honest communication and consistent delivery
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a multidisciplinary management team while fostering an inclusive, respectful working environment
