As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead a team within our Project Management Office (PMO) in the ISTAR & Cyber business area, managing a portfolio of projects across government contracts. Your responsibilities include:

1. End-to-end delivery of complex projects, supporting clients from requirements capture to delivery and handover.
2. Applying project management methodologies to ensure quality, accountability, and high standards, with regular performance reporting to senior management.
3. Implementing project controls for risk, financials, change, and stakeholder management, aligned with Babcock and APM standards.
4. Managing the operational and strategic aspects of the PMO, including personnel management and recruitment support.

This role is full-time (37 hours/week) based onsite at Ashchurch, Tewkesbury. Flexible working options such as part-time or job sharing may be available; please inquire during the interview.

Essential Experience

• Extensive project management experience, preferably on complex engineering projects.
• Experience in defence and security sectors is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• APM Project Professional Qualification (SCQF Level 9), PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent.
• DV Security Clearance (must be a sole UK national and able to obtain and maintain clearance).
