Job summary

Landmarc Support Services seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex pre-construction work for major infrastructure in the Wales and West region. Based at Sennybridge, you will drive safe, compliant delivery across multi-disciplinary teams and oversee tendering and design assurance.

The role requires proven project management experience, NEC tender familiarity, and solid knowledge of building regs and CDM. A UK driving licence and ASite/MS Project proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven depth of experience in project management.
• Experience with construction contracts including tender processes (NEC preferred).
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations, COSHH, LOLER, PUWER, Legionella and Asbestos.
• Strong understanding of risk identification and mitigation.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations including Scotland and Northern Ireland.
• Ability to monitor and communicate project financial performance.
• Proficient user of ASite, MS Excel and MS Project.
• Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.

• Lead pre-construction activities including developing client briefs, establishing preferred options and ensuring CDM compliance
• Champion government soft landings through effective stakeholder engagement across the project lifecycle
• Oversee supply chain design, compliance, project planning, risk mitigation and sustainability targets
• Provide project assurance as schemes transition to regional delivery teams, ensuring smooth handover into operational and asset management phases
• Prepare and collate tender documentation
• Manage design assurance processes

Job Introduction

Landmarc Support Services is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to lead complex pre-construction projects valued between £1m-£10m across the Wales and West region. Based at Sennybridge, this role supports the delivery of safe, compliant and sustainable infrastructure that enhances military training capability.

Role Details

• Salary: £62,192.00 - £68,593.92 (DOE)
• Car Allowance: £7,200 p/a
• Contract: Permanent, 37 hrs p/w, Mon - Fri, Office Based
• Location: Sennybridge, Brecon, Powys, Wales LD3 8PN
• Travel: Regional travel required in Wales & West, business travel expenses covered

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Proven depth of experience in project management
• Demonstrable experience with construction contracts including tender processes (NEC preferred)
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations, COSHH, LOLER, PUWER, Legionella and Asbestos
• Strong understanding of risk identification and mitigation
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations including Scotland and Northern Ireland
• Ability to monitor and communicate project financial performance
• Proficient user of ASite, MS Excel and MS Project
• Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle

Qualifications Required

• Level 5 qualification (HND) or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services
• Project management certification such as PRINCE2, MSP or APM PMQ
• Membership of a professional body such as APM, IET or CIBSE
