Fawkes & Reece London seeks a Senior Project Manager / Project Lead for a major façade recladding project in Manchester. The role oversees delivery across three occupied residential buildings, with a long programme and direct reporting to Operations Manager.

You will coordinate a specialist team and manage safety, quality and stakeholders to deliver the scheme on time and within budget, with clear progression opportunities into senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading major facade recladding projects.
• Proven background with Tier 1/2 contractors.
• Experience working in occupied buildings is highly desirable.

Senior Project Manager / Project Lead - Fa ade Remediation Manchester

Salary: Up to 90,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

A leading Tier 1 contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Lead to take overall responsibility for a major fa ade recladding project in Manchester.

The Role & Project

The project involves the complete removal and replacement of fa ade rock panels and render across three occupied residential apartment buildings, up to 13 storeys high.

With an 82-week programme starting October 2026, you will report directly to a visiting Operations Manager and take full responsibility for project delivery, supply chain, programme, HSEQ, quality and stakeholder management.

You will be supported by a dedicated team including a Senior Site Manager, Site Manager, QS, Technical Manager, Digital Manager, Planner and Customer Care Coordinator, alongside wider group support.

Experience Required

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Project Lead, Facades Manager or Cladding Package Manager with:

• Proven Tier 1/Tier 2 contractor experience.
• Strong fa ade, cladding or recladding background.
• High-rise residential experience.
• Experience working within occupied buildings is highly desirable.
