Manchester Metropolitan are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Project Manager to join their vibrant Strategic Projects team.
The successful applicant will lead on the delivery of project and programme management for key strategic initiatives, working with colleagues and senior leaders across the university.
The initiatives involve people, cultural and business change and strategy implementation. Strong relationship management and the ability to demonstrate the value of project management to a diverse audience will be critical.
We are looking for someone with experience of applying good practice across a complex environment. To be successful, you will engage through your excellent interpersonal skills to bring your stakeholders with you. Depending on the assigned initiative, you may also have the opportunity to matrix manage project managers and other team members. supporting their development through coaching and management of deliverables. The role provides the opportunity to work with leaders, deliver the benefits of change and ensure that staff involved in or impacted by change are engaged positively.
