Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex energy efficiency and building performance projects in London. You will drive delivery from design through to handover, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring outcomes meet client expectations.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on governance, safety, budgets and stakeholder engagement, with responsibility for the full project lifecycle and opportunities to support decarbonisation and long-term energy improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering multiple complex construction or energy projects.
  • Strong client-facing background with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially astute with experience managing budgets, P&L and contracts.
  • Experience in energy performance, retrofit or large-scale building services projects.
  • Good understanding of EPC delivery models and M&V processes.
  • Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
  • Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical) preferred.
  • APM qualification or equivalent desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Leading end-to-end delivery across cost, programme, quality, risk and safety performance.
  • Owning project financials including budgets, cashflow, forecasting and P&L accountability.
  • Ensuring robust governance, reporting and compliance across all project stages.
  • Managing risk, change control and contractual obligations (NEC/JCT environments).
  • Overseeing commissioning, handover and measurement & verification processes.
  • Leading, developing and supporting multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Embedding strong QSHE standards and driving a proactive safety culture.
  • Supporting early-stage project development, bids and business growth opportunities.

Senior Project Manager
Location: LONDON
Lead complex energy and infrastructure projects from design through to delivery. Drive performance, quality, and meaningful client outcomes.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of the successful delivery of high-value, multi-disciplinary projects across energy efficiency, carbon reduction and building performance. You'll play a pivotal role in leading teams, managing key client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll oversee the full project lifecycle—from early design development and planning, through construction, commissioning, measurement & verification, and final handover.
