Job summary

BBC Studios, the commercial arm of BBC StoryWorks, is seeking a Senior Project Manager in London to lead end-to-end branded content, advertising and sponsorship campaigns. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high-quality outcomes across multiple platforms.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, resilience and the ability to remain organised, calm and focused under pressure in a constantly evolving environment.

DEPARTMENT: BBC Studios – Commercial News
LOCATION: London – Television Centre
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £50,000 - £55,000 plus £5,441 London Weighting and 15% Ad Sales Bonus depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Join BBC StoryWorks Commercial Productions, the branded content studio of BBC Studios, and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative, high-impact campaigns for global clients. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of branded content, advertising and sponsorship projects, ensuring creative excellence, commercial success and outstanding client experiences across a fast-paced, multi-platform environment.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Knowledge of broadcast, digital advertising and content regulations and industry best practice.
  • Experience sourcing and managing external suppliers, agencies, production partners or freelance resources.
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring or developing project teams and fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • A global mindset with experience working across international markets, clients or stakeholder groups.
