Job summary

IO Associates is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its client-side building consultancy in Cardiff. You will own projects from early development through design, procurement, construction and handover, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and liaising with clients to maintain programmes and control risks.

You will work with a leadership team, contributing to growth and delivering significant regional projects, while enjoying hybrid working in Cardiff and a competitive package including a car

Qualifications

• Prince2, APM PMQ or Chartered Status is essential.
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams.
• Strong communication with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness to identify risks early.

Senior Project Manager - Client-Side Building Consultancy

£60,000 - £70,000 + benefits + car allowance | Cardiff (Hybrid Working)

We are working with a growing independent construction consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager as part of its continued expansion across the South West and South Wales.

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious consultancy at an exciting stage of its growth, working closely with an experienced leadership team and taking responsibility for the delivery of a varied portfolio of construction and property projects.

The role

As Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from the early stages of development through design, procurement, construction and handover.

You will act as a key point of contact for clients, coordinating consultant teams and contractors while ensuring projects remain on programme, risks are managed and key decisions are made at the right time.

About you

• An experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
• Comfortable managing construction projects independently.
• Experienced in coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams.
• Confident dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Commercially aware and able to identify risks before they become problems.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable working across multiple projects.
• A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships.
• Interested in joining a growing business where you can have genuine influence.
• Project management qualification is essential - Prince2, APM PMQ or Chartered Status
• A relevant construction, surveying qualification would be advantageous.
