Job summary

Ocean Infinity in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Project Controller to provide financial leadership across a portfolio of complex projects. You will be a trusted partner to Project Managers and senior stakeholders, delivering insight and challenge to support informed decision-making.

The responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting with variance analysis, risk review, invoicing and revenue recognition, close processes, and audits.

Qualifications

• Typically 5–7 years’ experience in project controlling, project accounting, or financial analysis within complex, multi-project environments.
• Strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control principles.
• Experience working with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong capability in financial modelling and data analysis.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in cross-functional environments, balancing commercial and operational considerations.
• Experience in maritime, offshore, engineering, or complex services environments is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial oversight of multiple complex projects, ensuring robust budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across the full project lifecycle.
• Partner closely with Project Managers and senior stakeholders to drive financial accountability and commercial discipline.
• Participate in regular project reviews to monitor progress against milestones, manage risks, and ensure timely invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Provide financial input into project planning, commercial strategy, investment appraisal, and performance optimisation initiatives.
