Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineering Manager to drive innovation, standardization and expansion across the AMZL network in the UK.

The role covers managing complex deployment projects at delivery stations, including automation and MHE retrofits, from concept through budgeting to stakeholder handover. Based out of the LHR area, you will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with senior management, and optimize processes to ensure on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering.
• Experience with automated or non-automated material handling equipment.
• Lean Management and Six Sigma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage highly complex concurrent projects related to deployment of engineering solutions in AMZL UK/IE network.
• Own program or portfolio related to launches or retrofits of Automation, MHE or building improvements.
• Lead the full project/program lifecycle from concept and budgeting to handover to stakeholders.
• Handle phases of projects with guidance, addressing resource, capex and timeline constraints.
• Interact with senior management to provide trade-off solutions aligning with business requirements.
• Identify process or standard inefficiencies and drive improvements with relevant teams.
