Job summary

MWH Treatment Limited seeks a Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer for the Sandown project in the UK. You will support the M&E Manager and assist the Project/Construction Manager with an economical plant design and procurement strategy, ensuring timely information flow for construction, commissioning and operation.

You will provide cost data for forecasts and assess variations, while maintaining strong client relations and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Basic engineering background.
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Engineering/Technical qualification (HNC minimum) required.
• Experience of supply chain expeditions.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
• CDM & Health & Safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an effective and economical plant design and procurement strategy.
• Ensure information is issued in time to enable construction, commissioning and operation.
• Provide cost data for forecasts and evaluation of variations.
• Maintain good client relationships at all levels and with subcontractors/suppliers.
• Assist in project management strategy and contract programme updates.
• Maintain contract filing systems and progress reporting.
