Job summary

Airbus Belfast Limited is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for Materials & Processes to support A220 production, manage M&P activity in a production environment and lead root cause investigations. You will collaborate with Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality to select materials, drive product improvements for cost and quality, and contribute to future aircraft development programs.

Qualifications

BSc/BEng degree or HNC/HND with relevant M&P experience and management responsibilities.
Experience to technically support M&P qualifications and developments.
Ability to work across Design, Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain in interdisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated networking and technical leadership in collaboration with partners.

Responsibilities

Manage M&P activity in a production environment.
Lead production issues for M&P technologies and drive product improvement for cost or quality.
Coordinate activities with Manufacturing Engineering and M&P.
Provide material selection support to Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality.
Build and maintain a strong stakeholder network with internal interfaces.
