Job summary

Freudenberg Sealing Technologies S.a.s. di Externa Italia S.r.l.u. seeks a capable Project Engineer to manage customer projects from handover to completion.

The role involves coordinating manufacturing, procurement, logistics and monitoring schedules, budgets and progress, while communicating status and risks to clients and internal teams. You will support product testing, document final records and drive continuous PM process improvements.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; degree in engineering is desirable.
• Minimum 3 years in a project engineering/management environment.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer projects from handover through completion.
• Coordinate manufacturing, procurement and logistics to meet milestones.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets and progress reporting.
• Communicate status and risks to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support product testing and coordinate customer witnessing requirements.
• Prepare commercial and technical project documentation including final records.
• Drive continuous improvement of PM processes and procedures.
