Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Godalming to lead multi-disciplinary projects across process, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation scopes.

You will produce P&IDs, specify and procure process equipment, coordinate with Controls engineers, manage site installation and commissioning, and mentor colleagues while ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience across all stages of process equipment projects; preferably in Industrial Gases and Pipework.
• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification advantageous.
• Commutable distance to Godalming; full UK driving licence and passport; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute multi-disciplinary projects across process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation scopes.
• Produce P&IDs and specify/procure process equipment.
• Coordinate with Controls engineers for system integration.
• Oversee installation and commissioning activities.
• Mentor colleagues and manage supplier approvals.
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards and safety regulations.
