Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Project Engineer for a hands-on role near Godalming. You will support multi-disciplinary engineering projects across process, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation scopes, delivering from concept to commissioning and handover.

Role requires design, equipment specification, procurement coordination, and close collaboration with senior engineers to meet safety, time and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engineering projects in process equipment or similar environments.
• Good communication and relationship-building across teams and clients.
• Knowledge of P&IDs, equipment specification and procurement processes.
• Ability to work across mechanical, electrical and instrumentation scopes with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
• Produce and update P&IDs and associated documents.
• Specify process equipment and assist procurement activities.
• Coordinate with Controls team for system integration and liaise with clients and suppliers.
• Support site installation, commissioning and project handover; ensure safety and quality.
